The Holdwick Family

Co-Owners Janeen and Brian Holdwick bring a unique blend of expertise, dedication, and community focus to Tuffy Automotive in Livonia.

Janeen, an Army Veteran with over 20 years of corporate experience, recently pursed full-time entrepreneurship. As a CPA and MBA graduate from Wayne State University (Go Warriors!), she manages the behind-the-scenes operations, from finances to strategic planning, ensuring the shop runs smoothly and efficiently. Passionate about creating a safe and welcoming space, Janeen helps make sure everyone, especially women, feel confident and respected when it comes to vehicle service. In her free time, she enjoys running, working out, and hiking with her family.

Brian spent over 20 years in economic development for the City of Detroit and recently launched his own company. Also, a CPA and a Michigan State University graduate (Go Green!). Brian handles the in-store operations at Tuffy. You’ll often see his face behind the desk, greeting customers personally. Outside the shop, he enjoys hunting, golf, and the occasional cigar.

Together, Janeen and Brian are proud parents of two daughters (both Michigan State graduates) and two dogs. They are committed to keeping Tuffy Livonia a small, family-run, and personal, not a corporate store. Their goal is to provide top-notch service, build lasting relationships, and make every customer feel welcome and valued.
